Dr. David Tse has been Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences of the University of California at Berkeley, since 1995. Dr. Tse serves as Member of Technical Advisory Board of QUALCOMM Flarion Technologies, Inc. He serves as Member of Technology Development Steering Committee of Nextwave Wireless Inc. From 1994 to 1995, Dr. Tse was a postdoctoral member of technical staff at A.T. & T. Bell Laboratories. He received a 1967 NSERC 4-year graduate fellowship from the government of Canada in 1989, a NSF CAREER award in 1998, the Best Paper Award at the Infocom 1998 conference, and the Erlang Prize in 2000 for applied probabilists. Dr. Tse received the B.A.Sc. degree in Systems Design Engineering from University of Waterloo, Canada, in 1989, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1991 and 1994 respectively.
